Gateway announced a new line of laptops known as the Gateway ID Series.
According to Gateway, ID Series is designed to offer the latest in mobile technology in a slim and lightweight design while keep it’s elegant and striking.

The Gateway ID49 HD has a 14-inch Ultrabright LED-backlit display and weighs 5.07 pounds, while the HD ID59 Gateway has a 15.6-inch Ultrabright LED-backlit display and weighs 5.5 pounds.
Besides the Gateway ID49 is protected by an aluminum alloy lid and a thin, measuring only 1 inch thin , so the notebooks are comfortable to wear and slide easily into a briefcase or book bag .
